Wet/Dry general notes

  • Hydrel defines Wet/Dry fixtures as designed especially for use in areas where water is featured that could be dry for long periods or most of the time. They can operate submerged, but don’t depend on water for cooling.
  • Examples edges, waterfalls, streams and other types of installations where the water level is subject to change.
  • If the part number starts with WD, it means it is Wet/Dry.
  • Wet rated fixtures are only approved for submersion in up to 1 meter of water.
