How Do I Know the Date Code And What It Means?

FA = Factory installed in the fixture and shipped with the fixture. If the date code does not have the letters FA at the beginning it indicates that the product was field installed and not shipped as an installed component of the fixture from the factory.

 

10 = First two numbers represent the year of battery/inverter was produced. 10 = 2010

 

08 = Second two numbers represent  the month that the battery/inverter was produced.

01 = January

02 = February

03 = March

04 = April

05 = May

06 = June

07 = July

08 = August

09 = September

10 = October

11 = November

12 = December

 

SXX = Production Series

 

YYJ = Production facility and cell

86J = BEIJING DYNAMICS

86G = TOSPO

86D = TOSPO

86K = McWONG
