sPODM and PP20: Why Does My sPODM Switch Turns The Lights On But They Go Off 10 Seconds Later?

The sPODM was designed to be used with an occupancy sensor.   The occupancy sensor enables the switch via the solid white wire.   If no occupancy sensor is used, then the solid white wire of the switch must be connected to the red wire of the switch. This gives a constant enable to the sPODM switch.

This situation may also occur if the occupancy sensor in the room has not been tripped within 10 seconds after the sPODM has been used to turn on the lights.  This can occur if the occupancy sensor is poorly located and unable to via the occupant as they enter the space.
