What is the low set trim on EXT Devices

By default the low set trim on EXT devices (SYRSP EXT, DEQ) is 20%. If you need it changed then a logic script can set that on boot up. You can also schedule it everyday so it gets reset to level.

To schedule it you would make a group with the group associated with Button 16 on the ext device.

Example of addressing.

DEQ station at address 1 would be button 116 and the group would be 2116.

DEQ station at address 2 would be button 216 and the group would be 2216.

DEQ station at address 10 would be button 1016 and the group would be 3016.

Add those groups to another group and then schedule that group to turn on every morning at 6AM to what value you want the low trim set to.

For those that would like to make sure it happens at boot up here is an example of script logic to do it using the same groups as the schedule example.

Example logic script below sets low trim on ext devices at boot/restart of controller to 1%. If you would like to adjust the low level to something other then 1% please change the value in the

// TITLE: SCRIPT TO SET EXT DEVICES TO DIM BELOW 20% DEFAULT LEVEL
// DATE: 4-19-2013

IF POWERUP THEN
TIMER 1 RESET
TIMER 1 START
ENDIF

//adjust low trim to a higher value for beginning of trim level adjustment.

IF TIMER 1 > 00:00:30 THEN
GROUP 2116 = 50
GROUP 2216 = 50
GROUP 3016 = 50
ENDIF

//Changes the low trim value to 1% if you want to have it other than 1% change the 01 to what value you want the low trim set to

IF TIMER 1 > 00:00:45 THEN

GROUP 2116 = 01

GROUP 2216 = 01

GROUP 3016 = 01

ENDIF
