Power Pack: Why Is The Power Pack's Wire Gauge 16/18 AWG And Not 12 or 14 AWG?

The wire gauge on the Power Pack is acceptable to be 16/18 AWG as the wires are very short.  The length is important as it relates to the total impedance of the wire, voltage drop, and heat generated, which all relates to the gauge required.  Further, the Power Pack meets UL/CUL safety requirements and is rigorously tested before receiving a listing.
