Improving timing performance on your DALI fixtures

When multiple fixtures are intended to be controlled together, it is recommended to set them to the same DMX start address instead of separate DMX start addresses in the same zone.

Using an updated DALI module firmware (version FR06V149+), setting fixtures that are controlled together to the same DMX start address improves synchronized performance when dimming them together. From the Fresco home screen, navigate to menu > Setup > RDM > LM2B > Subdevice x > DMX start address. Set the DMX start addresses of the fixtures that should be controlled together to the same value. This is not be confused with the DALI address, which re-assigns a fixture to a different subdevice number.

Prerequisite: Firmware version FR06V149.
